On the subject of Ice Cream I hear that the North Somerset Show and the Royal Bath and West Show are expecting a record number of visitors and they are only around the corner, fun times ahead! With Princess Anne in Weston this month we really are becoming quite royal with all our celebrities that visit our fi ne city and surrounding areas. However, it’s not just the animal parks, caves or zoos that I’m talking about; we explore the hidden treasures in our city with a spotlight on Nailsea and Backwell with a lovely Shopping Centre to visit and a great town with hidden gems for shops and a lovely walk around Backwell Lake. With so much happening and so many festivals at Bristol this month we couldn’t stop, there are our May issue features, some of our usual mouth watering recipes and a guide to good food pubs and restaurants in our city and surrounding countryside.
